Potty Patch is basically made up of 3 tiers that helps keep your pet’s waste secured in a holding crate supposedly preventing messy encounters. The top most layer is made of soft artificial grass that allows the liquid to pass through. The mid layer is a grate that keeps the grass dry and above any liquid while the most significant part is in the third tier where a collection tray holds all the liquid that allows multiple uses.

One dog owner rated Potty Patch as being fabulous because their dog quickly used it on the first day. For them it was easy to cleanup when they used it with puppy pads. They would even order a second one and obviously they would recommend Potty Patch.

However, there’s a lady who gave Potty Patch a rating of 2 out of 5 stars. She said that her dog only uses it to poo and not to pee and she also listed 4 problems that she encountered with it.

• First problem could be isolated because their dog continued to pee around the house.
• Second problem is that the Potty Patch is too messy because the grass shreds all over the room so they had to keep on sweeping the floor. The grass stays wet and the dog would leave wet paw prints around their house.
• Third issue has something to do with the washing of the grass. They didn’t get rid of the smell and they had to air dry it out.
• Last problem was their dog keeps pulling on the grass and chews along the edges.

She gave it only 2 stars because their dog does poo in it and because of all the issues above, she couldn’t rate it any higher.
