First bad point of the Porch Potty is the plastic base because it’s flimsy. The company states that Porch Potty can hold up to 120 pounds. But when their 28 lb dog walked above, it was so springy that it kinda freaked out their dog. The owner had to install some support braces so it wouldn’t shake too much.
Next, they noticed that the melted holes in the drain were not properly cleaned so the owner had to scrape all the melted plastic before he could let his dog use it. He also found that the sprinkler system in the premium version was impractical because if their dog did the no.2, then a hose would be needed. The sprinklers would take a lot of time to clean the artificial turf in the specific spot where it was soiled. Plus, he noted that the sprinklers sprays outside the unit so their deck and house gets wet.
